The Challenge
During a large-scale platform migration, I took the lead on rethinking and rewriting product pages to work seamlessly across mobile and desktop. The existing experience was fragmented, with key account data scattered across legacy systems—and no clear way to surface the right information at the right time.
In addition to making the experience work with a new UI and tech stack, we had to support data that hadn’t yet been migrated, while addressing long-standing user feedback about missing or hard-to-find information.
My Approach
I led the content strategy and UX writing work for the redesigned product pages, collaborating closely with design, product, engineering and data teams to bring clarity and structure to a complex information environment.
My focus was on making account data easy to understand and act on—even when that data was partial, delayed or still tied to legacy systems. I worked directly on content patterns that could flex across multiple product types. I also helped shape page layout and hierarchy, and wrote UI copy that clearly guided users through edge cases and system limitations. I conducted research and testing to make sure our language, labels and flows reflected how people actually used the pages.
Useful Updates
- Product pages now pull real-time data across product types
- Key account info is prioritized and easier to find
- Messaging clearly guides users when data lives elsewhere
- Scalable content patterns support 50+ products
- The experience feels cohesive, even during migration
The Result
The redesigned product pages launched successfully across platforms, providing a more modern and responsive experience. Users could quickly access the account info they needed, and when data wasn’t available yet, the interface guided them without friction.
My content design work helped unify the experience across product lines and made it easier for other teams to build on what we created. The result: a more intuitive experience for users, and a scalable foundation for the next stage of the platform.
